Statistical analysis revealed significant correlation between atherogenicity and the existence of subclinical atherosclerosis. Odds ratio and relative risk of atherosclerosis in patients with atherogenic blood were statisticly significant, too. As a diagnostic parameter serum atherogenicity has significant sensitivity and specificity.
