To determine clinical significance of atherogenicity we carried out an observational study. Eighty-four healthy normolipidemic donors served as a control group. Another group consisted of four hundred fifty one patients with documented atherosclerosis without clinical manifestations. Among them were normolipidemic, hyperlipidemic and diabetes patients. Third group was represented by atherosclerotic patients with clinical manifestation in the form of coronary heart disease.
