This table demonstrates the effect of karinat treatment on the dynamics of carotid atherosclerosis in postmenopausal women. In the placebo group an increase in intima plus media and growth of atherosclerotic plaques were observed. Karinat almost completely suppresses the formation of new atherosclerotic lesions and slows the progression of existing lesions.
