The ultrasonographic monitoring showed that in Allicor-treated group the thickness of intima plus media decreased, whereas in placebo group the regular growth was registered. There was statistically significant difference between two groups. So, we have obtained the evidence that Allicor possesses a direct antiatherosclerotic effect.
